Romans 11:25

De sluier begint op te lichten

For two millennia, the Gospel has traveled among the nations, bearing fruit across every tongue and tribe. Now it is coming full circle — returning to Jeruzalem and to the Jewish people, as the veil that has long covered their hearts begins to lift.

We zijn God dankbaar voor de genade die Hij ons heeft gegeven om deel uit te maken van Zijn buitengewone laatste-dagenmissie.

Ons verhaal

Van een woonkamer bij Haifa tot een beweging door heel Israël

In 1995, Gleb Sambursky was praying on the Golan Heights with his mother and a close friend when the Lord opened his heart to Ezekiel 37 — the vision of the dry bones of the house of Israel and the life-giving breath of the Holy Spirit.

Shortly after, a small Messianic congregation was born in his family's home near Haifa. What began as a humble gathering has since grown into a nationwide movement: today, Living Israel spans 25 congregations across the country, bringing together more than 1,000 believers.

Genesis 14:18

De naam achter de missie

Koning van Shalem

To understand what God is doing in Jeruzalem today, we must first understand the city's name.

Jeruzalem's earliest name — and the root from which it comes — is Shalem (Genesis 14:18). This ancient name carries a depth of meaning that goes far beyond a simple label: it speaks of wholeness, completeness, perfection, peace, and redemption.

This is no coincidence. Jeruzalem and its people stand at the very heart of God's great plan of restoration — the place where His eternal purposes will be brought to their fullness and completion.

Onze huidige focus: Jeruzalem

Today, Gleb and his team have received a clear calling to focus on Jeruzalem — planting communities and home churches among both the Hebrew-speaking and Arab-speaking populations of the city.

Jeruzalem is home to the largest Jewish population in the land (600,000) and one of the largest Arab populations in Israel (400,000). Yet these two communities remain deeply divided — separated by hatred, fear, and decades of pain on both sides.

Dit is precies waar we geloven dat God beweegt.

"I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jeruzalem a spirit of grace and supplication."
Zechariah 12:10

Christ is the Shalom this city has long been searching for. In Him, the walls of division crumble — and from the ashes of ancient enmity, a miracle is born: One New Man.

We already have our first Jewish and Arab disciples. The first Hebrew-speaking community meets in a strategic location in the heart of the Old City.

Hier zijn we. Hier beweegt God.

De kracht van het Evangelie

Prediken met tekenen en wonderen

We believe that God accompanies the preaching of the Gospel with signs and wonders — just as we read in the book of Acts, and just as we witness among us today. This is one of the most powerful ways to demonstrate the reality of the risen Christ, both to Jewish and Arab people.

Voorbereiding op de missie

Reaching Jeruzalem requires more than vision — it requires people who are equipped, rooted in the Word, and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

A few years ago, a Spirit-filled Bible school was established in Jeruzalem for this very purpose: to train the next generation of Israeli believers in the knowledge of Scripture and the power of the Spirit. Gleb serves on the school's board, and his close co-worker and pastor, Eli Dorfman, serves as Programma Directeur.

Onze behoeften

It's Challenging for Gelovigen to Live in the Holy Land

From sharply rising housing and living costs to ongoing insecurity — missile attacks, terror, airport closures and more — many believers in Israel are struggling to stay in the Land, let alone focus on sharing the Good News of Yeshua.

Our primary goal is to support the families of pastors and ministers, giving them a stable income so they can devote themselves fully to evangelism and discipleship.

Your contribution — however small — can be life-changing for faithful servants of God covering their family's basic needs while staying focused on the mission.

Elke gave telt. Bedankt voor uw steun.

Samen zijn we deel van Zijn buitengewone laatste-dagenmissie.
